Common questions.
Is Datatrax installed inside our Salesforce org?
Yes. The end-user experience lives entirely inside Salesforce — your authorized users create mappings and submit load requests through native Salesforce screens. Admin functions like billing and user provisioning live on this site.
Do we need middleware like MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica?
No. Datatrax is purpose-built for routine, repeatable loads driven by a CSV or similar tabular file. If you have one of those, you don't need an integration platform on top.
How are sandboxes counted?
On the Starter plan, you get one production org and one paired sandbox. On Pro, you get up to five orgs total — any mix of production and sandbox.
What happens when a load partially fails?
Datatrax returns per-row results for every record in the load. Failed rows are bundled into a downloadable error file with the original data plus a reason code. Fix the rows, resubmit, and only the corrected records are processed.
Can we restrict which objects authorized users can load to?
Yes. System admins define which mappings exist and which users are authorized for each. A user can only run loads against mappings they have been granted access to.
How does the free trial work?
